Maruti Suzuki Ciaz RS Launched at 9.2 Lakh

Taking the festive fervour a notch up, Maruti Suzuki today launched the Ciaz RS - a new variant of the mid-size sedan - at 9.2 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz RS takes on a sporty stance with new black interiors and grey chrome finish instrument panel. It also gets a spoiler pack that includes a front under spoiler, side under spoiler, trunk-lid spoiler and rear underbody spoiler. Maruti Suzuki claims the aforementioned exterior changes enhance the aerodynamics of the car.

Offered in both, petrol and hybrid diesel versions, the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz RS gets all the features and benefits of the Ciaz Z+ variant. Some of the provisions include projector head-lamps, alloy wheels, blacked-out B-pillar, turn indicators on ORVM, leather seat upholstery, leather-wrapped steering, Start-Stop button, etc. to name a few.

New 2015 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Facelift launched at Rs 5.99 lakh, gets Smart Hybrid tech on diesel

Maruti Suzuki India has introduced the 2015, facelifted version of the Ertiga with new features, better efficiency tweaked styling. The car maker has introduced a micro hybrid for the car model across all diesel variants, and is calling it Smart Hybrid.

The diesel engine, thanks to the implementation of the Smart Hybrid (SHVS) technology, delivers an improved fuel efficiency of 24.52 km/l (up by 18 %) in diesel. Petrol versions have also seen an increment of 9%, with the efficiency now rated at 17.5 km/l as a result of some tweaks made to the K14B engine. The 1.3 diesel engine is available only with a 5-speed transmission, while the 1.4 petrol gets a 5 speed manual as well as a 4 speed manual transmission.
