Initial impressions:
1. This is one beautifully build phone. It looks really sharp. Feels really good to hold. This feels more expensive than my Note 4 did, despite costing $100 less.
2. The LG Promo thing with the 200GB sd card and spare battery was easy enough to enter. Just had to provide a couple of images of the IMEI and receipt and boom, on the way.
3. The included charger IS Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 enabled. HTC could learn a lesson here.
4. The second screen is pretty awesome. The notifications show up there instead of on the phone screen which I really liked. Usage is easy enough although I haven't set it up yet.
5. The fingerprint sensor is pretty boss. I get asked to "try again" quite frequently but it usually only takes a moment longer.
6. T-Mobile gave me a free screen protector and then applied it for me. Thank you, customer service.
7. I will NOT be rooting this one (at least not right away). Let's see what life without root is like so I can actually use Android Pay as intended.
8. The camera is really good..
edit
9. I've seen people describe this phone as "wide" or "tall"...it's almost exactly the same size as a Note 4. A tiny bit thinner and a tiny bit taller, but otherwise no real difference. LG doesn't use the hard buttons like Samsung, just sub that out for the second screen on top. Boom, (approx) same size.
Early complaints:
1. Speaker isn't great.
2. Lookout app keeps re-enabling itself. Missing root access already lol. I wanna kill that app dead.
3. LG's UI isn't very...ergonomic. It's not bad (not as bad as Touchwiz...so far), but finding my way around is taking a bit longer than I thought it would.
More to come later, after I've had it for a while :)
